wow... just 15 mins ago, i was blissfully ignorant of space travel and the dangers and risks associated with it. then my dear friend, edwin, was kind enuff to broaden my knowledge on space travel cause he himself was worried abt the descent of the shuttle, discovery. as he directed me to different sites, the sordid details of the columbia incident scared me and brought me crashing back to earth and reality. they have to fly backwards! at impossibly hot temperatures! mind-boggling engineering...
now, though im the wiser, i think i almost liked it better when i was ignorant...
