a toast to a wonderful one month break...

:-) (i'm well-rested and raring to go that i'm going to start this post with a smile and a beam for the world...)
ei leen said that i hardly update my blog. hehe can't help but agree with her, and i foresee even less frequent updates with the dawn of the new term on Monday.
i was dreading this new semester cause we'd have to commence classes in Beaumont Hospital which is a half an hour bus ride away(i think, maybe more...) and we're all split into these groups of 30 and a subgroup of 10, and we pretty much move around in those groups, we'll attend lectures together, even take breaks together while the other groups are in session. these are the ppl who'll be with me for the remaining one year journey here in dublin. (it's quite sad that i have only one year left here!!!). we're planning to go to amsterdam for the Easter hols as it'll be our last spring in Dublin. oh well... oh anyways... it's a whole new semester, with a whole new schedule, whole new bunch of friends and a whole new wardrobe! hehe i was having trouble accepting this new change, and the anticipation is horrible, but i went to print out the timetable to get a clearer view(kinda like how i need to list down all i need to cover before an exam before i'm able to start studying and to ease the panic and pressure), and it's not all that bad. i'm actually very excited abt my first clinical observation this coming wednesday. i'd get to enter a theatre in scrubs and all!! oooooooh can hardly wait! will have to charge my camera to bring to beaumont from now on! so many new experiences and adventures!
there's a lot of things in my mind right now, but i think instead of boring everyone with my thoughts-unscrambling on my blog,i think perhaps i should sit down and think and sort through my thoughts before coming back.
hehe some more mira just told me my blog's length and difficult to read.. sigh...
will revamp it soon, dear... ehhe
be right back!

just a forward i picked up in friendster...

i know it's not nice to read the same forward over and over again, but i like posting the ones that really get to me here, to immortalise them and for easy access. so i apologise if i'm boring anyone, but it's amazing that just when i feel the world has exhausted its creative juices and that the same ones are circulating over and over again, a new one pops up. this one made me smile...

One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well.
The animal cried piteouslyfor hours as the farmer
tried to figure out what to do. Finally, he decided
the animal was old, and the well needed to be
covered up anyway; it just wasn't worth it to
retrieve the donkey.

He invited all his neighbours to come over and help
him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel
dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what
was happening and cried horribly. Then, to
everyone's amazement he quieted down.

A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked
down the well. He was astonished at what he saw.
With each shovel of dirt that hit his back, the
donkey was doing something amazing. He would
shake it off and take a step up.

As the farmer's neighbours continued to shovel dirt
on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take
a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as
the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well
and happily trotted off!

(my note:though if u think about it, the well is no more... and if the farmer didn't sacrifice the well, the donkey would have just died in there... though the stench would force him to sacrifice the well. i guess, what i'm trying to say is that the donkey's freedom didnt come free...)

MORAL :
Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt.
The trick to

getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a
step up. Each of our

troubles is a steppingstone. We can get out of the
deepest wells just by

not stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take
a step up.

Remember the five simple rules to be happy:

1. Free your heart from hatred - Forgive.

2. Free your mind from worries - Most never
happen.

3. Live simply and appreciate what you have.

4. Give more.

5. Expect less.

You have two choices...smile and close this page,
or pass this along to someone else to spread the
fun. I know what I did!!

"Challenges are what make life interesting,
overcoming them is what makes life meaningful.

i've actually, really been tagged!

oh how fun! hehe
just got back from a european tour with my mummy. but i've become accustomed and bored of architecture, not much impresses me anymore, it's like everything's nice and great and amazing, how much nicer can the nicest, tallest, widest, more incredible be anymore? ehhe but i loved the snow in lucerne(and the hot chocolate that came after!) and the sun glistening on the water in lugano. switzerland's absolutely magical. (and the guys are hot too, much hotter than the italians or french! ) hehe london was surprisingly nice too, i deduced that perhaps it's because their history of the monarchy and all is ongoing, current and the tradition carries on. ehhe that and perhaps cause their monarchy has a certain dashing prince... hehehe
