a cendol nutcase

:-) ok. Daniel needed to go to some charity drive in PJ, so we were up at 6.30! dropped him off and my parents brought me to eat Dim Sum in Sg Buloh. as Frances, Desmond and Lorraine know, Dim Sum makes me a VERY happy girl...

then as we had planned to have a steamboat that evening, we walked to the wet market! hehe i havent been to one in ages and years... everything was so cheap. fruits were priced like i've never seen before. and i thought Pasar Malams had cheap stuff! all sorts of stuff to dump into a steamboat!

we headed to Carrefour next. hehe it was like being at a high class market. also quite fun... i think it's been quite a while since i've been proper grocery shopping, non-departmental store style...

then i came home to wash the fruits, and unpack everything to their rightful place in the kitchen. (i.e. the nice stuff, my favourites, would get upfront special accessible seats!)

then mummy and daddy bought back cendol! whoo hoo... as you can see from my previous post, im a cendol and air mata kucing freak! hehe

then i napped...

when i woke up, i helped my mom with some chores in the kitchen. then...

then...
then...

we washed the cars! hehe Daddy has this system, where we wet the car, then soap it, then rinse it whilst wiping it. then dry. hehe i got all wet (thats half of the fun!) and had to climb a stool to get to the roof of the crv. hehe very very fun. Mummy resorted to car gymnastics, cleaning the insides of the car.

then we had our steamboat. hehe contentment at its best!

then we watched Michael Buble in concert at Wintern Theatre LA on Astro. He's quite the entertainer! really enjoyed it. please remind me just how much i love Michael Buble so i'll remember to go to his concert if he ever sets foot on our persada...

hehe detailing it all like this, it doesn't seem like much... but what to do... i guess in some ways i'm quite easy to please. i know of other ways that i'm really tough to please. but i love today...
i'm happy

better keep it happy then! :) haha... and stay happy! :).. nothing better than a friend who is happy.. and a happy friend makes me happy :)... naturally .. although, then again.. I'm naturally happy? XD hehhe... *grins*..

Michael Buble... bwahaha... I haven't listened to his old new album which I have here in Dublin.. lol... I used to like him, only for the reason of "Sway".. the Dean Martin song O_O hAHA

Ah well... hm hm... Nothing much :)...

oH, Malaysia is nicer by night? o_O?? Never knew that... hehe.. I like the night time too, and sometimes it DOES look nice.. :P.. But.. hehe.. :) I dunno.. XD :)

Pasar malams are good only if you can find:
1) Archie comics
2) Freshly steamed hot jagung

Hehe.. everything else for me is irrelevant.. Make my own soya bean with a hint of pandan is nicer. Well.. my mum makes that :P...

BTW, nice pic. :) in your About Me bit.

Haha... Air Mata Kucing, and cendol.. two things in life I don't see often anymore. My brothers were the worst.. practically slobbering everywhere for them around Lucky Garden and Bangsar (they're both adjacent to each other if you didn't know :P)... Nowadays, with all of us spread around the world, not really a big deal anymore..

Although, you'd be happy to know they use Australian products in a very very VERY expensive restaurant in London.. near Swiss Cottage I think.. in between Swiss Cottage and another Underground stop... can't remember :P... long time ago.. but I remember at teh time the exchange rate was over RM 7 per Sterling pound, and the cendol was something like... 8 pounds??? O_O HAHA... I think my dad paid dinner at around 140 pounds that night since it was me and the family, with the brothers at the time and two friends who went through RCSI.. family friends.

And yeah, it wasn't anyone in my family who ordered the cendol, it was the family friend's friend who like... kept ordering and ordering O_O ga ga gah..! XD

Fun fun though :P...

I just wondered.. we're so close to France in Dublin, but they never opened up Carrefour in Dublin.. bleh.. why not!?!?!??! XD... Like like.. .I mean... it's a good idea, right?!?!? XD

Wahaha... then again, the same goes for Sainsbury and IKEA... HAHA

:P

I probably have not only just written so much, but I didn't realise I'd end up writing something close to what is a scrambled conversation over bloggings :P HAHA...

Well, hope you have many happy enjoyments reading a comment that you won't ever get this long for a long while, and long may it be that it may never ever be this long for as long as time moves on for a long long time... HAHHA :P

Ok ok.. I'm just wasting your eyes at this rate :P...

I'd usually just say.. take care and hug :P.. but hell... I'm in such a good mood tonight, *bear hug!* XD... haha..

ps. Hooked on Frank Sinatra now, don't asked how or why or when... His voice is mesmerising me. I'm just an old fuddy duddy I guess... :P
